LOS ANGELES - A trio of Wildcats from the Northern Michigan Track & Field team competed at the Cal State LA Very Last Chance Meet on Sunday in their final bid to post a qualifying time for the NCAA Championships. 

Crystal Walker and Ellyse Wolfrath finished the 100m hurdles at 13.86, taking second and third, respectively. Walker also contended the long jump. 

Ahna Larson competed in the 400m hurdles, finishing at 1:03.66.

Standing 20th nationally in the 100m hurdles, Walker has the best shot at making the NCAA Championships for the 'Cats. She will await the NCAA Selection Show, announced on NCAA.com on Tuesday, May 13 at 6 p.m. ET. Each individual event will have 22 selected, with relays taking 16.
