PREVIEW: Men's Nordic Concludes Season with SuperTour Finals

MARQUETTE, Mich. - The NMU men's nordic ski team is on the road this week, competing in the SuperTour Finals.

The 2024-25 Swix Cup SuperTour Finals, presented by the National Nordic Foundation, will conclude in Lake Placid, bringing together the top racers from across the country, including some who have competed internationally throughout the season.

The event features four races and serves as the decisive competition for overall SuperTour standings. The top-ranked athletes will secure a spot in Period 1 of the 2025-26 World Cup. Additionally, the 2025 SuperTour Finals provide a valuable opportunity for racers to experience Lake Placid's trails ahead of the 2026 World Cup Finals.

SuperTour Standings
Kristoffer Karsrud enters the weekend as the highest rated Wildcat on the mens team, the 11th collegiate athlete and 22nd overall with 48 points, all coming from sprint scoring from competition at the US National Championships in Alaska earlier this season.

Luke Fricker is 21st among collegiate athletes and 38th overall with 23 points, coming from 19 in sprints and four in distance.

Adrik Kraftson and Jonathan Clarke round out the 'Cats with SuperTour points in 61st with seven points and 69th with three points, respectively.
