MARQUETTE, Mich. – The Wildcats took to the PEIF pool today where they went up against the Michigan Tech Club.
Alyssa Bloser competed in the annual Wildcat Skins Time Trial where she competed against teammate
Zoe DeKievit. Bloser took the first-place title with her time of 25.12 while DeKievit was close behind with 26.64.
Highlights
Bloser kicked off the meet at the top of the podium for the 100-yard IM with a time of 1:00.62. Once again, DeKievit was on her trail and marked second place at 1:00.72.
A 200-yard Medley Relay saw
Camilla Carbone, DeKievit, Merixell Font-Cantarero, and
Becca Burrows earning first place and hitting the wall at 1:47.06.
Anika Wright's success continues this season with another first-place title under her belt for the 200-yard Freestyle. At the same time,
Annika Geyer made the same strides in the 200-yard Butterfly and 500-yard Freestyle.
Senior Font-Cantarero kept up her victorious run with a top podium placement for the 50-yard Freestyle and 100-yard Butterfly.
Closing out the meet prior to the time trials was the 200-yard Freestyle Relay which saw
Mia Strazny,
Becca Burrows,
Olivia Haerr, and Bloser leading the pack with a time of 1:38.96.
