Wildcats Drop Home Contest to Parkside

MARQUETTE, Mich. – Northern Michigan University Women's Soccer hosted the University of Wisconsin Parkside Friday afternoon but were able to pull out victory as they fell 1-0.

 

  STAT LEADERS

Junior goalkeeper Brianna Frontuto (Luxemburg, Wis.) made multiple great saves and finished the match with a season-best eight saves.

Sophomore Caroline Halonen (Hartland, Mich.) notched six shots on the day while junior Isabela Cardoso (Sao Paulo, Brazil) finished with three shots. Four players added a shot each. 

  UP NEXT

The Wildcats are now 1-5 on the season while Parkside improved to 4-3. NMU will return to action Sunday to take on Purdue University Northwest at 1 p.m. on the NMU Soccer Field.
