MARQUETTE, Mich. – The Northern Michigan University Women's Soccer team took on #3 Grand Valley State University but were unable to pull off the upset as the Wildcats fell to the Lakers 5-0 in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference matchup.

STAT LEADERS

Junior goalkeeper Brianna Frontuto (Luxemburg, Wis.) tallied 11 saves in the match.

Freshman Evelyn Flor (Hugo, Minn.) led the team in shots. Sophomores Rachael Erste (Rockford, Mich.), Caroline Halonen (Hartland, Mich.) and Natalie Stampfly (Stevensville, Mich.) each aided the effort with a shot.
