PREVIEW: Wildcats continue GLIAC Play with two home games

MARQUETTE, Mich. – The Wildcats will open February at home, seeing two conference opponents from Saginaw Valley State and Lake Superior State. The 'Cats are returning to Vandament Arena after a weekend split, with a loss on Thursday at No. 1 Grand Valley (70-47) and a win Saturday against Davenport (95-62).

The Wildcats, now ranked No. 14 in the country, will now face the SVSU Cardinals on Thursday, February 5, at 5:30 p.m., then the LSSU Lakers on Saturday, February 7, at 1 p.m.

Saturday's contest is a Play4Kay game, focused on bringing awareness and support to the fight against all cancers affecting women. Play4Kay is a national fundraiser honoring NC State head coach of 34 years, Kay Yow, and all women in their fight against cancer. Everyone is encouraged to wear pink to Saturday's Play4Kay game in support of the cause.
