Ceglinski Advances to NCAA Championship

INDIANAPOLIS, IN. - The 2025 NCAA Diving Qualification Meet came to a close, with one Wildcat making the cut.

Of the 44 women entered, 22 advanced into the NCAA meet after competing in both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives. Kalina Ceglinski, Abbie Harned, and Lauren Plockmeyer all competed, with Ceglinski earning a spot in the championships.

Ceglinski now looks ahead to the 1-meter diving prelims at 10 a.m. tomorrow morning with the chance of advancing to the finals ttomorrow evening. Ceglinski wraps up her week on Friday with the 3-meter diving.

Wednesday

10 AM: 1-Meter Diving Prelims
5:30 PM: Timed Finals for 1000 Freestyle - Geyer (14th seed) and Wright (24th seed)
7 PM: Diving Finals for those who advanced
7:30 PM: Timed Finals for 200 Medley Relay - Carbone, DeKievit, Strazny, Burrows (11th seed)

Thursday

10 AM: 400 IM Prelims - Wright (28th)
5:30 PM: 400 IM Finals (if advanced from prelims)
7:30 PM: Timed Finals for 400 Medley Relay - Carbone, DeKievit, Curti, Burrows (14th)

Friday

10 AM: 500 Free Prelims - Wright (13th) and Geyer (16th)
10 AM: 100 Backstroke Prelims - Carbone (9th) and Strazny (22nd)
10 AM: 3-Meter Diving Prelims
5:30 PM: Finals for 500 Free/100 Back/Diving (if advanced from prelims)
7:30 PM: Timed Finals for 200 Freestyle Relay - Burrows, Keen, Strazny, Curti (16th)

Saturday

10 AM: 200 Backstroke Prelims - Strazny (11th), Carbone (28th)
5:30 PM: Timed finals for 1650 Free - Wright (18th) and Geyer (23rd)
6:10 PM: Finals for 200 Backstroke (if advanced from prelims)
7:45 PM: Timed Finals for 400 Freestyle Relay - Wright, Geyer, Strazny, Carbone (18th)
