GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The NMU women's swim and dive team turned in a solid day from round one of the Calvin College Invite, sitting second of five teams.
NMU garnered a total of 517 points, narrowly trailing Grand Valley with 528, and ahead of Findlay with 487.
The 'Cats found podium positions three separate times to go along with six separate events hitting NCAA D2-B Qualifying Standards.
Annika Geyer and
Anika Wright both earned NCAA cuts, finishing second and third in the 500 yard free.
Carlotta Santi and
Elena Curti also garnered NCAA cuts in the 500 free, finishing fifth and ninth.
