MARQUETTE, Mich. - The Northern Michigan University Men's and Women's Swim and Dive team will hit the road this weekend for the first road meets of the season. The Wildcats will take on the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals and University of Findlay Oilers on Friday, October 27 before competing against the Grand Valley State Lakers on Saturday, October 28.
The team will dive into the event on Friday at 4 p.m., and battle against the Lakers on Saturday at 1 p.m.Â

Last Time OutÂ
The Wildcats competed in a meet against the St. Cloud State Huskies and Davenport Panthers for a two-day event on October 6 and October 7, 2023. Overall, the Wildcats found victory against both teams with a score of 326.50-140.50 against Davenport and 281-199 against St. Cloud.
The Men came out of the meet with victories against both teams, finalizing the score against Davenport with 170-70 and St. Cloud with 128-114. While the Women Wildcats ended the meet with a score of 156.50-70.50 against Davenport and 153-85 against St. Cloud.
One of the highlights of the meet was a new pool record by
Leo Nolles in  the 50-yard Freestyle with a time of 20.49.
