Eight from NMU Swim and Dive earn Academic All-District Honors

MARQUETTE, Mich. -- Eight student-athletes from the Northern Michigan University men's and women's swim and dive programs have earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors, announced today.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Swimming & Diving teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes swimming & diving honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

The CSC Academic All-District® representatives from NMU include Evie DeCarlo, Annika Geyer, Julia Zimpel, Kalina Ceglinski, Leo Nolles, William LaCount, Jef Leroux, and Tobie Stiles. Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.

Nolles, LaCount, and Stiles now earn their third Academic All-District honor of their career, with Leroux earning his first. All four women have earned their first Academic All-District honor.

Academic All-America honors will be announced at noon ET on Tuesday, April 14 (men), and Wednesday, April 15 (women). All eligible student-athletes successfully nominated during the nomination window receive Academic All-District® recognition for their exceptional athletic and academic achievements. In 2024-25, less than five percent of student-athletes earned this prestigious honor across all sports and divisions.

Announcements are made on AcademicAllAmerica.com and @AcadAllAmerica social media.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national
governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America®
programs.
