NORTH CANTON, Ohio — The Northern Michigan women's soccer team fell to Walsh, 1-0, Friday night at Milazzo Field.

Sarah Berger's unassisted goal in the 86th minute of the match proved to be the difference.

Alexandra Simmons finished with five saves. Paula Hafner, Sophia Sachs, Aimee Colla, Lauren McDermott and Carmen Villarruel all collected shots on goal.

Northern Michigan continues its weekend on the road Sunday, taking on Lake Erie at noon.
