MARQUETTE, Mich. – Northern Michigan women's wrestling head coach Adam Wilson has announced the Wildcats' schedule for the 2026-27 season. The slate features 12 competition dates, including three home events in Vandament Arena.

The Green and Gold will open the season with a big matchup on Monday, Nov. 2 at home against returning National Duals Champions, North Central. 

The Wildcats will then compete on Nov. 7 at the Pointer Open in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, before traveling to Adrian, Michigan, the following weekend for the Adrian Duals on Nov. 14 and the Adrian Open on Nov. 15.

Northern will make its home debut on Nov. 21, welcoming Aurora and UW-Stevens Point to Marquette for a pair of duals.

Conference competition begins Dec. 4-5 when the Wildcats travel to Lebanon, Illinois, for the GLVC Duals. The team will remain in Illinois the following weekend, competing at the North Central Invitational in Naperville on Dec. 13.

The Wildcats return home for their third and final home event of the regular season on Dec. 18, hosting the NMU Duals against Tiffin, Sioux Falls, Davenport, and Olivet.

To close out the 2025 calendar year, Northern Michigan will compete at the prestigious Midlands Championships on Dec. 30 in Evanston, Illinois.

The 2026 portion of the schedule begins Jan. 8-9 at the NWCA National Duals in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Later in the month, the Wildcats will travel to Coralville, Iowa, for the For Her Duals on Jan. 23-24.

Postseason action begins Feb. 19-20 with the NCAA Regional Championships before the season concludes at the NCAA Championships on March 5-6 in Coralville, Iowa.
