NMU Soccer to Host 3v3 Youth and 5v5 Adult Tournaments

MARQUETTE, Mich. -- Join the NMU women's and men's soccer teams for 3v3 and 5v5 soccer tournaments!

Both tournaments will take place from Saturday, July 11, to Sunday, July 12, 2026, at the Northern Michigan Soccer Fields on Wright Street. 

The 3v3 Youth Tournament features eight age brackets: U9 Coed, U10 Girls, U10 Boys, U12 Girls, U12 Boys, U14 Girls, U14 Boys, and High School Coed. Team registration is $200 per team, with a max of six players per roster, and a minimum of three (no goalkeepers). Each team will have a minimum of three games with a chance of additional games for playoffs and/or a championship match. All games will be 24 minutes long.

The 5v5 Adult Tournament welcomes everyone 18 and older, with the exception of high school students. Teams can register with up to 10 on the roster, while teams will consist of four field players plus a goalkeeper during play. All teams must have a minimum of one female player on the field at all times. If a team does not have a female on the field, they will play a player down until they have at least one female on the field. Teams that have only one female will play a player down for the remaining games if the female participant is no longer able to compete.

Check-in for both tournaments will take place 1 hour before the start of your first match. Registration deadline is Wednesday, July 1, 2026, by 4:00 p.m. ET.
