Wildcat Golf Schedule Update

'Cats drop SVSU Spring Invite, add Upper Iowa Invite in April

MARQUETTE, Mich. -- The NMU golf team has withdrawn from the SVSU Spring Invitational in Lexington, Kentucky, after facing adverse and inclement weather during travel.

The 'Cats were on the road and got to the Mackinac Bridge, where they waited for hours in hopes the bridge would reopen, before deciding to drop out of the tournament in Kentucky and head back home. 

After deciding to withdraw, head coach Ben Johnson added a new tournament to the schedule. NMU will now compete in the Upper Iowa Invite at the Sunnyside Country Club in Waterloo, Iowa. The tournament runs from April 3 to 4, 2026.
