How It Happened
The 'Cats swam in the only event of the night, as the 800 free relay team took to the pool in the first heat of two. The 'Cats, swimming in a heat with seven, found themselves in a hole at the halfway point in last place. The 'Cats were able to make ground on the field when Ballardin took to the pool at anchor, as he surpassed a trio of teams to take fourth in the heat.
