NMU Swim and Dive Announce 2025-26 Schedule

MARQUETTE, Mich. - The NMU swim & dive team has announced its 2025-2026 schedule of meets.

The team opens the season with the annual Green vs. Gold & Wildcat Alumni meet, taking place on September 19 and 20 in the PEIF Pool on the campus of Northern Michigan University. The Wildcats stay home to open the regular season, welcoming St. Cloud State and Davenport to Marquette for two days of competition on October 3 and 4.

The Wildcats then make their way through the lower peninsula of Michigan, starting in Saginaw to compete against SVSU and Findlay on October 24 before making the two and a half hour drive west to Allendale to face off against Grand Valley State on October 25.

The Wildcats then return home and welcome Wayne State to the PEIF Pool for two days of competition, starting with a skins meet on November 7 before finishing with a second day of regular competition.

The 'Cats last team meet before the winter recess comes at the Calvin College Invite, a three-day meet from December 4 to 6 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with multiple teams. This meet emulates a conference or national championship schedule, with last season hosting NMU, Calvin College, Findlay, GVSU, Grove City, and Indiana Wesleyan.

A select group will get the opportunity to travel to Florida over the winter break, where a handful of athletes will compete in the CSCAA Open Water Collegiate Nationals, taking place on December 13.

The second semester kicks off in Wisconsin, as the team travels to Stevens Point for a meet on January 17 against the Pointers. The 'Cats are then home a week later, welcoming Lake Superior State to the PEIF Pool for NMU's senior day, competing in a skins meet once again.

The post season begins with the GLIAC Championships, running from February 6 to 9 in Holland, Michigan. There will be a last chance meet on February 21 for athletes still looking for NCAA qualification results before the NCAA Championships begin on March 10 and finish on March 14.

The season will officially come to a close with the teams annual spring scrimmage, taking place on April 17 in the PEIF Pool.

The full schedule for both teams can be found on their respective schedule pages.
