GENEVA, Ohio - In the final domestic tournament of the year, the Northern Michigan Greco-Roman Wrestling team competed at the U20 World Team Trials and U23 Nationals in Geneva, Ohio, this past weekend.
The group had two members take first place at the U20 World Team Trials, securing their spot on the World Team. Another National Champion was crowned at U23 Nationals, with nine more earning podium finishes between the two competitions.

Drury clinched his second United States U20 World Team in three years in the 63kg weight class. His teammate, Otto Black, persevered in the 67kg weight class to come away with his second consecutive victory at a U20 World Team selection tournament.

Parker Betts, and company. The Wildcats claimed eight World Team spots, the most for the program since 2018. Those include:
