Greco-Roman Wrestling crowns two champions in New York City

NEW YORK – The Northern Michigan Greco-Roman wrestling team competed at the 2025 Bill Farrell Memorial International, where Kenneth Crosby and Amryn Nutter were crowned champions. It was the first time since 2018 that two members of the NMU program were crowned champions at the event. 

In his first senior-level event, Nutter (67kg) picked up the gold medal with an 8-0 tech fall win over Noah Rice (USA) in the championship match. Nutter went 4-0 in his bouts, with three wins coming via tech fall and another by decision. 

At 55 kg, Crosby secured his own goal by tech. fall as well, defeating Marat Garipov (Brazil), 11-1. 

In addition, Charlie McKune took fourth, Maddox Khalimsky placed fifth, and Henry Baronowski also finished in fifth.
