MARQUETTE, Mich. - The NMU alpine ski team is ready to hit the slopes in 2025, traveling to LaCrosse, Wisconsin to race in at USCSA Mt. La Crosse.
Race day from Wisconsin this season takes place on Saturday, January 18 and Sunday, January 19. USCSA Mt. LaCrosse was canceled last year, the last race before the regional championship, due to a lack of snow and poor conditions.

An experienced group, there are 11 seniors and eight juniors among the 27 skiers across both the women's and men's teams who were crowned regional champions and finished 2nd and 4th at last year's USCSA National Championships.
On the women's side, NMU welcome's back All-American's
Reagan Olli,
Ainsley, Kirk, and
Ella Wichert, along with
Emily Creek and
Tommie Springer, both of who skied alongside the three All-Americans at last year's nationals. Olli, Springer, and Kirk claimed the first three spots at last seasons regional championships.
Two of the three All-American's on the men's team return, including
Aaron Grzelak and
Andrew Truman, along with national championship competitors
Connor Abraham,
Will Blackmer, and
Reed Heathman. Grzelak and Heathman claimed the top-two individual spots at last year's regional championships.
