NMU Swim and Dive Announce 2024-25 Schedule

MARQUETTE, Mich. - The Northern Michigan swim & dive team has announced its schedule for the 2024-25 season. The slate will begin in September and finish in March, with the PEIF pool playing host to several contests throughout the season.

The green and gold open up the campaign with Green vs. Gold exhibitions on September 20 and 21 in the PEIF Pool before hitting the road to St. Cloud, Minnesota for the first regular season match up of the season in the first weekend of October.

The month of October ends with the Wildcats back home at the PEIF, playing host to Saginaw Valley State on October 25 before hosting a dual-meet with Grand Valley State and SVSU the following day.

The month of November only holds one meet, that being another dual-meet with Wayne State and Findlay in Detroit on November 9.

December then kicks off with the team traveling back downstate, traveling to the Calvin College Invite in Grand Rapids, where they will race against five other schools over three days of competition.  December rounds out with a select few heading to Miami, Floria for the CSCAA Open Water Collegiate Nationals on December 15.

Students return from winter break and host UW Stevens Point for a one-day meet in the PEIF Pool on January 18, 2025, before the dive team travels to Stevens Point, Wisconsin for a two-day diving meet on January 24-25.

The Wisconsin kick continues into February, with the team traveling to Green bay to square off against UW Green Bay on February 1. The 'Cats then return home for senior day on February 8, where the Green and Gold play host to the Lake Superior State to celebrate our seniors.

The post season then begins, starting with the GLIAC Championships in Holland, Michigan, from February 19-22. A quick turnaround sees the Last Chance Meet on February 23, before the NCAA Championships kick-off on March 11 and run through March 15.

The 'Cats officially end the season with a spring scrimmage on April 18, in the PEIF Pool, at 4:00 PM.
