LAKE PLACID, New York - Aaron Grzelak dominated the slopes in the men's slalom, leading the 'Cats with a third-place finish and receiving First-Team All-America honors.
The Wildcats finished second as a team in the slalom with their combined time of 5:00.37, roughly six seconds ahead of third place.
Grzelak (47.84, 50.29 - 1:38.13) came out flying, posting the second-fastest run and positioning himself for success. The podium and top-five finish earn him First-Team All-American honors and a bronze medal from nationals. Grzelak was .28 seconds off from second place.
Brad Seaborg (50.02, 50.28 - 1:40.30) narrowly missed the top five, by .28 seconds, finishing sixth and earning Second-Team All-American honors.
Andrew Truman (51.07, 50.87 - 1:41.94) was named Second-Team All-American with his 12th-place finish, rounding out the 'Cats in the top-15.
Connor Abraham finished 34th with his tome of 1:49.94, and
Reed Heathman DNF in his first run to end his day early.
