Nolles Breaks Team Record, Claims Gold

Wildcats sit in second place after day one

HOLLAND, Mich. - Day one of the GLAIC Championships wrapped up from Holland, Michigan, with Leo Nolles claiming gold in the 50 Yard Freestyle.

Nolles broke a team record en route to gold in the 50 yard free with his time of 19.62, followed by teammate William LaCount with a time of 19.94 to claim silver.

The team of LaCount, Jef Leroux, Gabriel Fulconi, and Nolles broke a team record in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay with their time of 1:19.39, claiming silver in the event.

The 200 Yard Medley Relay team of Thibault Auger, Wyatt Dickman, Ryan Lund, and Nolles claimed silver, and Tobie Stiles claimed bronze for his score of 423.10 in the 1 meter diving.

The 'Cats sit second after day one with 200 points, trailing only Grand Valley State with 248. St. Cloud State trails NMU in third with 181.5 points.
