HOLLAND, Mich. - Day two of the GLIAC Championships wrapped up from Holland today, and the 'Cats had several athletes and events place well.
Daniel Lopez Aponte took home gold in the 400 Yard IM with his time of 3:53.88, two seconds faster than his qualifying time. His first place earned him a DII B-Cut and 20 team points.
The 400 Yard Medley Relay team of
Thibault Auger,
Wyatt Dickman,
Ryan Lund, and
Leo Nolles claimed bronze, a DII B-Cut, broke a team record, and earned 32 team points with their finals time of 3:14.29.
Nolles placed seventh in the 100 Yard Butterfly, a DII B-Cut, and 12 team points.
Jef Leroux, Dickman,
Alessandro Rosatelli, and
Gabriel Fulconi all earned DII B-Cut times, along with a combined 16.5 team points in the 200 Yard Freestyle.
The 'Cats have maintained their second place position with 324.5 points, trailing only Grand Valley with 462.
