Marquette, MI. - After a few weeks of rest, the NMU Wildcats swim and dive teams are preparing for an important mid-season test at the Calvin College Invite, held from December 5th to 7th at the Venema Aquatic Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
This three-day event will feature multiple sessions each day, with competitions starting at 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
The Wildcats will face stiff competition from a strong field of teams, including host Calvin University, top-ranked Grand Valley State and Findlay, Grove City, and Indiana Wesleyan. Both the men and the women will compete against the same teams.

Men's Swim fell to Wayne State 132-165 but defeated Findlay 184-95.
- William LaCount led the charge with victories in the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard butterfly, and as part of the first-place 400-yard freestyle relay team.
- Gabriel Fulcoini added two wins in the 200-yard freestyle and 400-yard freestyle relay.
- Wyatt Dickman dominated in the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke.
- Leo Nolles contributed an individual win in the 100-yard freestyle and was crucial in the 400-yard freestyle relay win.
Women's Swim beat Wayne State 215 to 85 and downed Findlay 185 to 109.
