DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Northern Michigan Greco-Roman Wrestling team traveled to Dubuque this weekend for duals, defeating Dubuque RTC/Int'l All-Stars 26-19.
NMU got on the board first at 55kg when
Kenneth Crosby picked up an 8-0 win (TF). At 63 kg, Landon Drury won via forfeit 9-0.
After a 9-0 (TF) defeat at 67 kg, Charlie McKune got NMU back on the board at 72kg with a narrow 4-3 win. It was followed with a slim defeat of 4-3 at 77kg.
The Northern crew took the next two, getting an 8-5 victory from
Patrick Curran at 82kg and another at 97 kg from Jayden Taedo-Gosal, 8-0 (TF).
Dubuque would get the edge via fall in the 97kg weight class, but NMU's
Jimmy Hustoles finished things off with a 2-0 win at 130kg to secure the team victory.
