ST. CLOUD, Minn. - The NMU mens swim and dive team completed its second day of competition, winning the final four events of the evening, but ultimately dropping this one 99-123.
Gabriel Fulconi claimed gold in all three of his events of the evening, first in the 200 IM, then the 500 free, then in the final event of the evening as an anchor for the 400 free relay.
Tobie Stiles had an outstanding evening on the board, claiming first in both the 3-meter and 1-meter dives.
Jef Leroux found two first-place finishes, first in 100 free then as the lead off man in the 400 free relay. Jef also took second as a member of the 400 medley relay team.
Wyatt Dickman had another monster day in the pool, opening the evening with silver in back-to-back events before claiming first in the 200 breast, finishing top-two in all three of his events.Â
William LaCount and Ale Rosatelli rounded out the team who took first in the 400 free relay. Along with first, LaCount finished second with the 400 medley relay team and in the 50 free.

Event Breakdown
Event 2 -Â The 400 medley relay kicked off the event, and it was the team of
Ian Rocheleau,
Wyatt Dickman,
Jef Leroux, and William Lacount finishing second with a time of 3:26.39.
Event 4 - A quick turnaround, Dickman had but one event to rest before getting back in the pool to swim the 200 free, where he claimed second with a time of 1:42.80, three seconds ahead of third place.
James Werwie finished 8th, and
Patrick Andrews placed 12th.
Event 6 - LaCount swam to a second place finish in the 50 free, posting a time of 21.32.
Daniel Khmara and
Max Swiatkowski placed 6th and 7th, and Marty Wolmarans rounded out the 'Cats in the top-10 in 9th.
Event 8 -Â
Gabriel Fulconi found the first Wildcat win of the evening, finishing first in the 200 IM with a time of 1:54.56, two seconds ahead of second place. Fulconi posted fastest lap times in all four splits.
Daniel Lopez Aponte was next to touch, finishing second with his time of 1:58.59. Ale Rosatelli took 5th, and
Kyle Griswold rounded out the top-10.
Event 10 - The
 very next men's event,
Tobie Stiles claimed gold with 312.15 points in the 3-meter dive, clearing second place by 56 points.
Event 12 - Javier Pena Reyes and
Daniel Khmara found the podium in the 200 butterfly, finishing second and third with times of 1:56.81 and 1:57.29, respectively.Â
Event 14 - Leroux found the 'Cats third first-place finish of the afternoon, as he swam a 46.89 100 free. Jef was ahead at the turn, and held on the rest of the way en route to the line. Rosatelli, Wolmarans, and Swiatkowski finishing 6th, 7th, and 8th, respectively.Â
Event 16 -Â Werwie finished 4th, Rocheleau finished 5th, and
Caleb Rice finished 7th in the 200 backstroke.Â
Event 18 -Â Fulconi once again would cross the line in first place, claiming gold in the 500 freestyle with his time of 4:46.33, as he maintained his first place position the entire race.
Event 20 - Stiles found himself back on top for the second time of the evening, claiming first in the 1-meter diving with a 47 point margin, a final score of 278.75.
Event 22 -Â Dickman found himself on the podium again, this time claiming first in the 200 breaststroke with his time of 2:05.88, posting a six-second gap between himself and second place.
Andrew Tease finished fourth, and Lopez Aponte rounded out the 'Cats in 9th.
Event 24 - The 'Cats finished the event on a high note, as the 400 free relay team of Leroux, LaCount, Rosatelli, and Fulconi finished first with their time of 3:06.34.Â
