MARQUETTE, Mich. - The NMU Swim and Dive team was back in action on Saturday, September 16 with their annual intrasquad Green vs. Gold meet.

EVENT RECAP
Kicking off the meet was the 200-yard Medley Relay which had Camilla Carbone, Zoe DeKievit, Carlotta Santi, and Olivia Haerr earning a first place finish for the Gold team. The Green team also finished in first place with Ian Rocheleau, Gabriel Fulconi, Martin Wolmarans, and William LaCount

The Green team's Anika Wright and Patrick Andrews found themselves on top for the 1000-yard Freestyle with Carlotta Santi and Logan Robillard following close behind for the Gold. Wright finished the event with a time of 10:46.09 while Andrews ended with 10:33.70.

The 100-yard Backstroke saw the Gold team's Camilla Carbone and Thibault Auger in the top spot while Mia Strazny, of the green team, and Leo Nolles, of the gold team, took second place.
The 100-yard Breaststroke was led by Ella Houwers, representing the Gold team, and freshman Gabriel Fulconi of the Green team. Txell Font-Cantarero (Green) and Hudson Lowery (Gold) took first in the 200-yard Butterfly.

Green succeeded in the 50-yard Freestyle with wins from Becca Burrows and William LaCount. The 1-meter dive tripped up the teams, earning wins from both sides by Abbie Harned, who had 220.00 points, and Tobie Stiles, with his 284.70 points.

The Gold team took wins in three consecutive events: 100-yard Freestyle, 200-yard Backstroke, and 200-yard Breaststroke. The first place finishers were Haerr and Nolles in the Freestyle, Carbone and Auger in the Backstroke, and DeKievit and Dickman in the Breaststroke.

Wright and Fulconi added another win to the Green team during the 500-yard Freestyle. Font-Cantarero was also successful in earning a win for the Green team in the 100-yard Butterfly, but this was balanced out by Nolles' win for the Gold team in the same event.

The 3-Meter Dive saw Harned's score of 108.90 adding another win to the Gold's plate while Stiles' 154.55 score did the same for the Green team.

With only two events remaining, the Green team added another tally to their score with Font-Cantarero and Fulconi taking first in the 200-yard IM.

The 200-yard Freestyle finished out the meet with the Gold prevailing. The women's side consisted of Carlotta Santi, Alyssa Bloser, Joanne Arbic, and Olivia Haerr and the men's included Alessandro Rosatelli, Wyatt Dickman, Ryan Lund, and Leo Nolles
