WILDCAT TALK |
"Quincy was an important match for us because they have been a powerhouse for so many years," said head coach David Poggi. "One of the ways you measure your progress is how you compete with programs like that. I am disappointed that we did not get the result that we wanted, but I do not think it was from lack of effort."
"Playing with 10 versus 11 with a young team is a real question mark. I think they answered those questions today and that should give us some confidence going forward," added Poggi.
"Both teams had chances to score and squandered them. At the end of the day, I thought it was an exciting college match and we want to make it more exciting every time we come out," concluded Poggi.
