2021: Named to the All-GLIAC Second Team. Named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Midwest Third Team. Started all 18 matches for the Wildcats. Recorded a pair of assists at Parkside on Oct. 10. 

2020-21: Named to the All-GLIAC First Team. Appeared and started in all eight matches during the season. Notched his first two goals as a Wildcat. Added an assist.

2019: Named GLIAC Honorable Mention Team. Appeared and started in all 19 matches during the season. Tallied an assist at Northwood. Finished the year with 13 shots.

2018: Earned All-GLIAC Honorable Mention honors. Played and started 17 matches on the season. Notched an assist against Purdue Northwest. Tallied his second assist against Saginaw Valley.

BEFORE NMU: Earned three letters in soccer at Chadwick International School (South Korea) and one letter in cross country. Kurz was a three-time All-Conference and All-Conference Tournament honoree and was named the tournament MVP in 2017 and 2018. He helped guide Chadwick to the KAIAC regular season and tournament championships. Kurz competed two seasons for Songdo F.C. of the Trinadad and Tobago Secendar Schools Football League winning the league's Best Midfielder award both seasons. He is a member of the Liberian U20 National Team Player pool and has attended the Liberian Men's National Team Training Camp. 

PERSONAL: Son of Kardii and Siaffa Sambola and is one of six siblings.
