MARQUETTE, Mich. — The Northern Michigan University women's lacrosse team makes the first Wildcat road trip of 2021 with a Sunday trip to Quincy and a Tuesday visit to Maryville (Mo.).
The Quincy contest is set for 2 p.m. while the Maryville game is scheduled for 1 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT |
The NMU women opened their season last Saturday with a 23-2 loss to Lindenwood University.
Sophomore Emily Renfrew scored the first Wildcat goal of the season with an assist from Tess Kostelec. Freshman Kaitlyn Bridger scored the final goal for NMU in the match. It was Bridger's first collegiate goal.
Cam Stilson started in goal and made three saves. She was relieved by Aliyah Smukala who collected two saves over 25:44 of match time.

For the second-straight year, the Wildcats are picked to finish fourth in the GLIAC preseason poll. Conference play begins for NMU on Friday, March 19 at Upper Iowa.

NMU VS QUINCY |
The Wildcats have faced the Hawks just one time and won that contest 16-4. The victory came inside the Superior Dome last February.

NMU VS MARYVILLE |
Much like their other opponent this week, NMU has played Maryville only once and it was a victory. The Wildcats took home a 14-8 road win over the Saints in March of 2019.
