MARQUETTE, Mich. — The Wildcat women are set to begin postseason play with a matchup against the Parkside Rangers Tuesday night, March 3.  The team earned the fifth seed in the GLIAC tournament with a league record of 10-10 and went 13-15 overall. 

Tipoff of the GLIAC Quarterfinals is set for 8 p.m. in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

LAST TIME OUT

The Wildcats dropped a close one with Michigan Tech to close out the regular season, falling 51-48 at home. 

Freshman guard Makaylee Kuhn posted a career high 19 points against the Huskies, including four three-point jump shots.

The team led the rebound battle, picking up 44 to the Huskies' 26 but were unable to capitalize on a handful of chances, giving MTU the edge.

NMU VERSUS PARKSIDE

The two teams split the regular season series with the Wildcats dropping a close decision, 58-55, at Parkside before rallying to post a 60-55 victory over the Rangers last month at home.

In that contest, the Wildcats went 22 of 46 on field goals for a 47.8 percent shooting rate while out rebounding the Rangers 38-25.

The Wildcats lead the all-time series by the narrowest of margins, with four wins in seven total meetings (4-3).
