Despite 12 points from Makaylee Kuhn, the squad fell to the Lakers, 53-38, on Thursday night.
They rebounded on Saturday for a convincing 72-63 victory over the Davenport Panthers to remain undefeated against the GLIAC foe (6-0). The women shot 46 percent from the field in the matchup behind Jessica Schultz's 16 points and Amber Huebner's eight rebounds. The deciding factor in the contest proved to be turnovers as the Wildcats capitalized for 17 points off 13 forced turnovers by the Panthers.
