  LAST TIME OUT

The women are coming off a weekend sweep of Northwood and Saginaw Valley State which saw team points leader Erin Honkala (Howell, Mich.) tally 29 points (15-14=29) over the two game stretch. The team opened conference play with a 55-47 victory over the Timberwolves before holding on late for the 56-53 victory over SVSU on Saturday to continue their undefeated streak at the Berry Events Center. The Wildcats are now 4-0 at home in 2019-20 and have won the last six straight at home, dating back to February 7, 2019 against the Cardinals.

The weekend wins improve NMU to 5-5 on the season and a 2-0 start to GLIAC play.

  NMU VERSUS MTU

The Wildcats hold the narrow edge all-time against the Huskies, owning a 52-47 record in the program's history. Last year the team lost two close battles at the hands of MTU, with the Huskies earning a 55-53 victory in Marquette before a 60-55 win in Houghton to conclude the regular season.

This season, the Huskies are 3-6 and 1-1 in the GLIAC following a weekend split with Saginaw Valley State and Northwood.
