MARQUETTE, Mich.  -- The Northern Michigan University Men's Basketball Team defeated St. Norbert College 73-58 in an exhibition game Saturday afternoon.

Will Carius (Bettendorf, Iowa/Pleasant Valley) led the Wildcats with 15 points, including 5-5 from the free throw line. Junior Naba Echols (Memphis, Tenn./Mitchell) chipped in with 10 points and a team-high three assists and two steals. 

Jordan Perez (Greendale, Wis.) reached double-figures in rebounds to lead the Wildcats. 

As a team, NMU shot 53 percent from the field.  The Wildcats return to action Sunday as they host Bay College at 1 p.m. During the game, the NMU Student Athlete Advisory Committee is hosting a Trick or Treating event where free admission to anyone 8th grade and under who comes to the game in a costume.
