Lakers at a Glance:
Grand Valley State enters Saturday's contest off a 28-27 defeat to Ferris State last week. GVSU led most of the game, and held a 27-21 lead with just over two minutes remaining. However, Ferris State University found the end zone and made the extra point with 15 seconds remaining in the game to upset the Lakers.
NMU versus Grand Valley State:
Today's contest marks the 40th time the teams will face each other. This is also the third-straight contest played at Grand Valley State. Last season's game saw GVSU come out on top 50-24. NMU won the last game in Marquette, 38-10, played in 2012.
