Biography

2017: Lead the team in rushing with 211 carries for a total of 1,377 yards. Longest run being 75 yards. Racked up eight touchdowns. Had one complete pass for a gain of 30 yards. 23 catches for 203 yards. Contributed two tackles. Made NMU football history by being the first Wildcat to get D2CCA All-Midwest Region Recognition when he made the second-team. Finished junior year by winning GLIAC Offensive Back of the Year.

2016: Led the team with 1064 yards on 185 carries.  Scored 13 touchdowns on the year. Posted three scores against Ohio Dominican. Scored multiple touchdowns on three occasions.   

2015: Played in nine games, rushing for 274 yards. Rushed for a season-best 62 yards at Northwood (Sept. 5).

High School: Earned three letters as a running back for Plainfield East High School. Earned all-area, all-conference and all-state honorable mention accolades and was a two-time team offensive MVP. Was team captain for two years.

Personal: Born October 9, 1996. Son of Andre and Ann Mayon. Majoring in political science.
