In the first set, the Wildcats built an early 8-4 lead and never let Upper Iowa back within two. In the second, they overcame an early 10-6 deficit by going on a 13-8 run to take a 19-18 lead. While the Peacocks managed to tie the match three more times, Northern Michigan closed them out with kills by Fraga Guntin and Hogeboom.
