MARQUETTE, Mich. – The 2026 volleyball season is just around the corner, with Northern Michigan set to host the UP North Volleyball Tournament next Thursday through Saturday, Aug. 27-29, at Vandament Arena. The tournament is sponsored by Texas Roadhouse.

The three-day tournament features seven teams, with the Wildcats joined by Cal State East Bay, Michigan Tech, Minnesota Duluth, St. Cloud State, Tiffin, and Winona State.

Northern Michigan opens the tournament Thursday, Aug. 27, against Winona State at 2:30 p.m., before facing St. Cloud State at 6:30 p.m. The Wildcats will then take on Minnesota Duluth Friday at 7 p.m. before wrapping up the tournament against Tiffin Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
