RALEIGH, N.C. – Senior Cheyenne Stewart finished seventh in the women's long jump at the Raleigh Relays as the Northern Michigan University track & field team opened its outdoor season Friday.
Stewart was second in her flight with a jump of 18-02.25. St. Augustine's Brittni Finch won the long jump with a mark of 19-01.50.
Junior Christina Toogood posted a time of 4:35.84 in the women's 1,500 invitational finishing 36th while junior Brittni Wirtz posted a time of 12.24 in the women's 100 meter dash, finishing 39th overall.
Northern Michigan completes action at the Raleigh Relays on Saturday.
