Recently named All-Region in the 100m hurdles and long jump, Walker has had a stellar season to highlight an impressive career in Green and Gold. At the GLIAC Championships earlier this month, the native of Portmore, Jamaica, ran a time of 13.68 in the 100m hurdle prelims, setting a new school record. That performance held in the nation's top 20 over the final two weeks of the regular season to punch her ticket to the national championship.
This will be Walker's third appearance on the national stage, with the previous instances coming during the 2022-23 indoor season, where she took 13th in the long jump (5.66m), and in the 2023-24 outdoor campaign, where she finished in 14th in the 100m hurdles (14.07). Walker will now strive for a top-12 finish and All-America status.
