Named CCHA Defenseman of the Week on Jan. 21 after a goal and assist in series vs. Ohio State (Jan. 18-19). Scored four goals and recorded 11 assists. Had a goal and an assist at St. Cloud State (Jan. 4). Tallied two assists vs. Alaska (Nov. 23). Also scored at Miami (Nov. 9), vs. Michigan Tech (Dec. 4) and the game-winner vs. Ohio State (Jan. 19). Second on the team with 52 blocked shots.
2011-12: Appeared in 36 games for second letter. Received the Tom Laidlaw Best Defenseman Award. Tallied six points on a goal and five assists. Scored first collegiate goal vs. Ferris State (Feb. 3). Blocked 43 shots.
2010-11: Lettered for the first time. Received Don Waddell Best Freshman Award after appearing in 35 games. Led the team with 59 blocked shots. Recorded six assists on the season. Recorded first collegiate point when he assisted at Bemidji State (Nov. 26). Had two assists vs. Michigan Tech (Dec. 17) in a 6-2 NMU win. Had three shots on goal vs. Lake Superior State (Feb. 5).
Before NMU: Played for the Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League for two seasons (2008-10). Had 24 points on 17 assists and seven goals during the 2009-10 season. Had a goal and seven assists the season before. Skated two seasons with the Midget AAA Dallas Stars.
