Biography

2017: Appeared in nine matches during the season, making one start on October 22 versus Grand Valley. Named to the GLIAC All-Academic team.

2016: Appeared in 16 games and started in six of the games. Koning had one assist and five shots on goal. Named to GLIAC All-Academic Team.

2015: Appeared in 13 games and made two starts. Recorded an assist against at Winona St. (Sept. 6).

2014: Played in all 18 games making one start.  Recorded an assist against Findlay (Oct. 19) for her first career point.

Before NMU: Lettered four times as a defender and a midfielder. Was voted as a team captain, named the best defender in consecutive seasons and earned All-Valley Honoable Mention honors.

Personal: Daughter of Roger and Leslie Koning. Special Education major.
