2016: Started in seven of the 10 games she played. Simmons had a 0.936 save percentage, only allowing 5 goals all season. She recorded two wins, two losses, three ties and two shutouts. She was second in the league for goals against with a 0.54 average and was first in the league with save percentage with a 0.936.
2015: Appeared in 16 games and made 12 starts in net. Made 72 saves on the year for a 1.45 goals against average.
2014: Appeared in net seven times with one start. Made eight saves on the year for a 1.99 goals against average.
2013: Played in 15 games, starting 12 as goalkeeper. Made 63 saves with a meager 1.51 goals against average. She earned four wins on the season, registering shutouts against, Northwood (Oct. 11) and Malone (Nov. 3).
Before NMU: Lettered four times at Gaylord High School. Named first teams all-conference, all-district and all-state honorable mention and all-region, second team all-state and MVP women’s athlete at Gaylord High School. Also participated in basketball, named to the first team all-conference.
