Biography

2022: Started all 17 games, scoring her first career goal on Senior Night against Upper Iowa. Added 19 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers. 

2021: Appeared in 13 matches with 12 starts. Finished third on the team with 8 caused turnovers and tied for fifth with 18 ground balls. 

2020: Appeared and started in four matches. Finished the year with four ground balls and five caused turnovers.

2019: Appeared and started in all 16 matches. Tallied 32 ground balls and caused a team-best 15 turnovers. Added her first career assist at Lake Erie. Notched a career high seven ground balls and six caused turnovers at Maryville.

Before NMU: Earned four varsity lacrosse letters at Colonial Forge High School. Was team captain for two seasons. First Team All-Conference, First Team All-Region and Second Team All-State for two seasons. Assisted the team in winning two conference championships, one regional championship and a state semifinals appearance.

Personal: Daughter of David and Cathleen Close. Born December 26, 1999. Majoring in Nursing.
