Biography
2021-22: Appeared in 28 contests for the Wildcats within the 2021-22 season...averaged 6.6 points per game with a season high of 16 points against Davenport University (1/20/22)... tallied 84 rebounds during the season for a 3.0/game average.
2020-21: Appeared in 19 games with 13 starts. Averaged 3.9 points and over one assist and rebound each game. Scored a season best 11 points vs. Ferris State. Dished out five assists against Northwood.
2019-20: Battled through injuries to appear in 21 games and made 11 starts. Averaged 4.9 points and over an assist per game. Season-best 14 points against Parkside. Added 13 points at Saginaw Valley. Scored 10 points at Lake Superior State. Dished out a career high four assists at Ferris State and against Wayne State. Made the game winner against Wayne State with 10 seconds left to play.
2018-19: Appeared in 32 games. Season-high of 12 points in both games against Lake Superior State. Scored 11 points against Michigan Tech. Scored 10 points in three of the last five games of the season. Three steals against Michigan Tech and Davenport.
2017-18: Appeared in 27 games and made 17 starts in debut season. Went perfect for a career-high 19 points against Lake Superior St., making 6 of 6 shots from the field, 5 of 5 from the three-point line and sank both attempted free throws. Went 11 of 11 from the free throw line in a victory over Ferris St.
Before NMU: Lutz was named the Capitol South Conference Player of the Year as a senior after averaging 19.5 points, 9.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 2.4 steals per game. For her performance, she was also selected to the Division 3 all-state first team, the ESPN Madison all-area first team and the Wisconsin State Journal all-area small schools first team.
