Biography

2018: Appeared in 17 matches while getting 10 starts for the Wildcats. GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team. Recorded two goals against Viterbo. Added goals against Ashland and Northwood. Notched an assist against Quincy.

2017: Redshirted after getting injured in second game of the season. Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team.

2016: Finished second on the team in points (9), second in assists (3) and tied for second with Ívar Árnason in goals (3). Netted the first goal in program history on Sept. 4 at Missouri-St. Louis. Posted six points (2g-2a) in program's first victory on Sept. 18 against Walsh. His six points and two goals were the best totals posted by a Wildcat in a single game during the inaugural season.

Before NMU: Hoffman led Petoskey to a district title and earned a spot on the all-district, all-regional and all-state second team. He played club soccer for the Petoskey Lakers and Vardar Northern Michigan. During his club career, he won a Schwan's USA Cup title.
