‘Cat Nips:  Shoots left. Enters senior seasonwith seven points on four goals and three assists in 56 careergames.

2012-13:  Appeared in 22 games for secondletter. Scored three goals and added two assists. Had a goal and anassist vs. Alaska (Nov. 23). Scored at Western Michigan (Nov. 20)and Michigan Tech (Feb. 12). Tallied an assist at Michigan (March8).

2011-12:  Lettered for the first time,appearing in 20 games. Tallied first career assist vs. St. Cloud(Oct. 15).

2010-11:  Appeared in 15 games duringfirst season at NMU. Scored first collegiate goal vs. Michigan(Feb. 25).

Before NMU:  Played a season for thePenticton Vees of the British Columbia Hockey League. Recorded ninegoals and 17 assists. Played part of the 2007-08 season and all ofthe 2008-09 season with the Sioux City Musketeers of the USHL.Received the hardest worker award after scoring 11 goals and having13 assists during the 2008-09 campaign. Lettered in hockey fourtimes at Duluth Denfeld. Two-time all-State selection. CCM All-stargame MVP 2007. All-time leading scored at school with 255 careerpoints. Hobey Baker winner 2008. Three-year captain. Four-timeall-area team.

Personal:  A 2008 graduate of DuluthDenfeld High School. Likes fishing, baseball, snowmobiling andfootball. Participated in football and tennis in high school.Majoring in management. Son of Julie and Dean Johnson. Born June27, 1989.
