Season in 2025-26: 7th Season
Career Record at NMU: 108-66 (69-43 GLIAC)

In 2024-25, Majkrzak led the Wildcats to their third consecutive GLIAC championship, winning the conference tournament as the No. 4 seed. NMU knocked off No. 5 Grand Valley State 85-72, No. 1 Michigan Tech 69-68, and No. 2 Lake Superior State 78-63 to raise the hardware. NMU won 20+ games and made the NCAA Tournament for the third consecutive season, the first time the program has ever reached that mark. Under his leadership, Dylan Kuehl was named to the All-GLIAC First Team and All-Defensive Team for the third straight year. In addition, it was also an unprecedented start to the season for Majkrzak's Wildcats, as they hosted NMU alum Tom Izzo and the Michigan State Spartans for an exhibition game in the Superior Dome in front of 11,000 people. NMU battled but fell 70-53...a notable result as the Spartans would advance all the way to the Division I Elite 8.

In 2023-24, Majkrzak was named the GLIAC Coach of the Year following a 22-11 season that saw the Wildcats make its second straight NCAA Tournament appearance. The Wildcats won the outright GLIAC regular season title for the first time since 1992-93 and hosted the GLIAC Tournament for the first time since then as well. He is only the second leader of the program to be named conference Coach of the Year, joining Dean Ellis in 1993. For a team that dealt with injuries all season long, Majkrzak continued to make it work for the Green and Gold, plugging and playing different lineups with seemingly no interruptions. The Wildcats tied the longest winning streak in program history last year at 13 games, originally set in 1984-85.

In the 2022-23 season, Majkrzak led the Wildcats to its first GLIAC Championship in 23 years after defeating the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals 75-66 to advance to the semifinals, triumphing over the host Ferris State Bulldogs 67-59 to advance to the GLIAC Championship, then besting the Michigan Tech Huskies 79-66 en route to a championship win. Under Majkrzak, the Wildcats secured an NCAA tournament win against Hillsdale, as well as posting the most wins in program history with a 25-8 record. Along with earning Wildcat Awards for Coach of the Year and Team of the Year, Max Weisbrod was named GLIAC Freshman of the Year, Max Bjorklund was named to the All-Region team while leading the Midwest in scoring and selected as a memeber of the All-GLIAC First Team, and Dylan Kuehl was named All-GLIAC First Team and All-Defensive team. The team was excellent in the classroom as well, with eight earning spots on the 2022-23 GLIAC All-Academic Team.

Majkrzak guided the 'Cats to a stellar 18-12 season in 2021-22, winning nine of their last ten to reach the GLIAC Championship game for the first time since 2000. The Wildcats earned the three seed in the GLIAC Tournament. NMU defeated UP rival Lake Superior State 99-94 in OT to open up the GLIAC Quarterfinals. The Wildcats then traveled to Houghton and defeated host Michigan Tech 78-71 to advance to the championship. Majkrzak coached the Wildcats to the most three-pointers in program history (292) as well as tying the record for most threes in a game (18 vs. UW-Stout). He coached Max Bjorlund, who turned in a historic finish on the Wildcats season, including a 46 point performance (40 in the second half) at nationally ranked Ferris State to end the regular season as NMU won 93-87. Bjorklund and teammate John Kerr earned All-GLIAC Second Team honors, who also claimed All-Defense accolades.

The Wildcats went 8-8 during the 2020-21 season, which featured a conference-only schedule due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The team had two All-GLIAC Second Team members and had the fewest turnovers of any team in the GLIAC.

In the 2019-20 season leading the Wildcats, he helped guide the team to a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Semifinals appearance after the team upset #11 and the league's top-seeded team, Ferris State University, in the quarterfinals. The team also upset Grand Valley State University in Allendale, 75-73 and in a 95-45 win over University of Alaska Fairbanks, the squad posted the program's largest victory over a Division II opponent.

Majkrzak came to NMU after a successful season at Bryant & Stratton College-Wisconsin. In his lone season leading the Bobcats, Majkrzak guided the team to a 25-8 record, ranking #1 in the region and #17 nationally.  The team reached their first NJCAA Division II Region IV Championship in program history.

Before his season at Bryant & Stratton, Majkrzak was the top assistant at Bemidji State University for four seasons. During this time, Majkrzak helped increase the Beaver's wins every season. In his final year in Bemidji, he led the team's defense and helped the team improve from 13th to 2nd in defensive field goal percentage. His recruiting efforts resulted in the league's runner-up for Freshman of the Year Award three out of four seasons.

Prior to arriving at Bemidji State, Majkrzak served as an assistant at Chadron State College for two years, resulting in an eight-game improvement and the program's second-best season in the past 18 years during his second season.

In 2011, he created the AAU program, Wisconsin Jets, and coached five teams over two summers. He got his start in coaching as a student assistant for four years at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay where he also earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Management before earning his Masters in Organizational Management from Chadron State.

Majkrzak is the 15th coach for the program that dates back to 1906-07.
