Biography

2013: Was the team's best tackler with his 83 total tackles (42 solo, 41 assist). Also led the team in forced fumbles (2) and fumbles recovered (4). Third on the team in sacks (3.5) and second in tackles for loss (7). Had a 15 tackle game against Ferris State (Nov. 16) and a ten tackle game at Saginaw Valley (Nov. 9). Had two sacks in a win against Northwood (Nov. 2). Named the team's Defensive Player of the Year.

2012:  Earned first letter after appearing in five games. Led the team in total tackles (94), tackles for loss (12.5) and sacks (2). Tallied 56 solo and 38 assisted tackles. Had 14 total tackles, including 11 solo tackles, vs. Ferris State (Nov. 10). Tallied 11 total tackles vs. Ashland (Sept. 22) and vs. Saginaw Valley (Nov. 3). Recorded 10 total tackles at Hillsdale (Sept. 29) and at Northwood (Oct. 27). Had two fumble recoveries. Named team’s most improved defensive player.

2011:  Appeared in two games in the defensive backfield.

2010:  Squad member.

High School:  Lettered in football four times at Gillett High School under Rich Kamps. First team all-conference as a running back and linebacker. Participated in basketball where he was all-conference MVP. On his basketball team he was the top rebounder and best defensive player.

Personal:  Enjoys fishing. Majoring in environmental studies. Son of Laurie and Thomas Krause. Born on February 4, 1992.
