2021: Participated in a game against Northwood, making it his first collegiate game. 

Before NMU: Earned four varsity letters in football and one in track & field at Kenwood Academy. Named All-City and All-Conference. Helped team reach the 2019 state playoffs. 

Personal: Son of Leon Payne and Jasmyn Mead. Born February 21, 2002.
